For Sale: 1940 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan

1940 Lincoln Zephyr 4 door sedan.  It is original and has only 28,000 miles.  It has been primarily stored indoors back in Rhode Island as far as I have been told.  It is Green in color and has a tan interior.  The body is straight, chrome is all straight and clean, and the interior is B+ condition.  It has 4 brand new Coker whitewall tires.  The engine and transmission are extremely strong and tight.

When I purchased it from a seller in Illinois, I did some work on it.  I replaced 100% of the brake system, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, hoses, brake lines, fittings and fluid.  I also replaced the fuel line 100%, installed a low flow electric fuel pump as a back up and had the carburetor rebuilt 100%.  I also had the radiator boiled out and repainted.  The driver's side threshold has some rust but the rest of car does not have rust through, just very minor spots of rust.  The interior is very good with no tears, rodent damage, or stains.

The car is a good running car in very good overall condition.  The original heater was taken out and the windshield wiper motor is intermittent.  One front head light does not work and I have not had time to look into it.

For Sale: 1941 Lincoln-Zephyr Club Coupe

My research indicates only 178 were produced.  This car is solid with no rust.  It is 99.99% complete and original.  Original spare and jack included.  RF lower fender missing SS trim strip.  Casting number on heads indicate '46 engine.  Engine starts at the touch of the button.  Runs quiet but smokes.  I'm thinking stuck rings from it's lengthy stay in dry storage.  Drives in all gears fine but stopping is another thing.!  Master cylinder is stuck.  New master cyl. is included.  Speedo is working and showing 76K miles.  $26,000.  Email me or text only for questions or more pics.  (Endless scammers prevent me from answering unknown numbers.!)  931-235-4868 or dhunt@cafes.net.

For Sale: 1939 Convertible Sedan

For Sale: 1939 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan Convertible written about in the September-October issue of the Way of the Zephyr is ready for a new owner who will take care of it as much as I have.  It is ready to be block sanded and painted.  It runs great, and has new brakes, tires and wiring.  Otis registered under vehicle number H 83728.  The interior and top need to be finished.  I purchased from Gordon Harbuck a dark tan leather interior that was in his '39 sedan convertible for the car.  There is a video of the salvage yard owner standing in front of the car telling about the car before the restoration project began.  I am asking $29,000. Mike (845) 527-2108.

For Sale: 1940 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan

The car runs great.  The body is in good shape.  The paint is ok with some scratches.  Probably 20 year old paint job.  The car needs new rubber on all the windows.  All the glass is good with no chips or cracks.  Interior is grey mohair.  The tires are in need of replacement.  The tires hold air and are fine for slow parades.  Interior door handles and window crank handles need to be replaced.  The wiper tower need to be rebuilt or replaced.  The radio needs to be rebuilt and the dash reassembled after reassembly of the wiper system.  I have manuals and distributer timing tool that go with the sale of the car.  The car is located in Tehachapi, CA.  I have many more pictures if interested.  E-mail ankerfamily@yahoo.com, or contact me at (801) 793-3799 cell.  I am asking $25,000 or best offer, or will consider partial trade for a Ford Model T or A or some other car that would be good for the Great Race.  I can deliver for $2.00 a mile one way milage if need any where in the lower 48 on open trailer.

For Sale: 1941 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan

Recently refurbished older restoration and used as a wedding vehicle.  This driver quality prewar Lincoln rides nicely on new 15 inch WWW radial tires.  Brake work included new master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders, turned drums and brake shoes.  Under the hood, 12 spark plugs and wires, rebuilt carburetor, new battery, fuel pump rebuild and all fluids changed.  A new muffler and tailpipe were fitted.  The fuel tank was removed, cleaned, primed and painted.  Sealed windshield rubber was installed.  The interior was cleaned and carpeting extraction was done.  A new radio faceplate and knobs were installed.  Restored hubcaps with body color paint inlays were done.  New polished stainless wheel trim rings were added.  The previous body repaint was touched up where needed and then buffed.  The paint shows age but no obvious bubbling or lifting.  The chrome is very presentable.  Currently registered with a clean NH title in the owner’s name and kept in a heated garage with composite tile flooring.  $21,500
