The car runs great.  The body is in good shape.  The paint is ok with some scratches.  Probably 20 year old paint job.  The car needs new rubber on all the windows.  All the glass is good with no chips or cracks.  Interior is grey mohair.  The tires are in need of replacement.  The tires hold air and are fine for slow parades.  Interior door handles and window crank handles need to be replaced.  The wiper tower need to be rebuilt or replaced.  The radio needs to be rebuilt and the dash reassembled after reassembly of the wiper system.  I have manuals and distributer timing tool that go with the sale of the car.  The car is located in Tehachapi, CA.  I have many more pictures if interested.  E-mail, or contact me at (801) 793-3799 cell.  I am asking $25,000 or best offer, or will consider partial trade for a Ford Model T or A or some other car that would be good for the Great Race.  I can deliver for $2.00 a mile one way milage if need any where in the lower 48 on open trailer.

For Sale: 1936 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan

Very rare, 1936 Lincoln Zephyr V-12, previously restored. Vehicle has been in the family since 1969. Purchased from the original owner. Car runs drives and looks great, good for tours, museum or show. Car was carefully restored to original. Including flathead V-12 engine with aluminum heads. Car has won many awards including Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club GOF and Hershey. The car was invited to Ford’s 100th anniversary in Dearborn Michigan, by Ford Motor Company. It was on display in front of Ford headquarters to represent 1936 as one of Ford Icon vehicles. It is painted Zephyr blue with original redone interior. The vehicle is very rare, with only a few remaining. This vehicle is the only one I have seen with the spare tire flat in the trunk. Lincoln did this in the middle of production. First, the tire was mounted at the trunk opening allowing the only access through the backseat. Lincoln received many complaints. Lincoln placed the spare tire flat in the trunk. Lincoln again received complaints that the luggage wouldn’t fit. Which brought us to the swing out tire at the trunk opening, which the Zephyr used from the end of 1936 through production of the Lincoln Zephyr. Asking $52,000.

For Sale: 1940 Lincoln-Zephyr Sedan

1940 Lincoln Zephyr 4 door sedan.  It is original and has only 28,000 miles.  It has been primarily stored indoors back in Rhode Island as far as I have been told.  It is Green in color and has a tan interior.  The body is straight, chrome is all straight and clean, and the interior is B+ condition.  It has 4 brand new Coker whitewall tires.  The engine and transmission are extremely strong and tight.

When I purchased it from a seller in Illinois, I did some work on it.  I replaced 100% of the brake system, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, hoses, brake lines, fittings and fluid.  I also replaced the fuel line 100%, installed a low flow electric fuel pump as a back up and had the carburetor rebuilt 100%.  I also had the radiator boiled out and repainted.  The driver's side threshold has some rust but the rest of car does not have rust through, just very minor spots of rust.  The interior is very good with no tears, rodent damage, or stains.

The car is a good running car in very good overall condition.  The original heater was taken out and the windshield wiper motor is intermittent.  One front head light does not work and I have not had time to look into it.
