For Sale: 1937 Lincoln Zephyr V12 CoupéLincoln adopted the model name Zephyr (West Wind) after a super train known as "The Burlington Zephyr". This streamlined and ultra-modern high-speed diesel-electric train was put into operation in spring 1934 on the route Denver-Chicago.

Veteran car enthusiasts call this car "The Coupe of all Coupes". It is larger and more streamlined than most other Coupes of that era. The car has been restored to its original which took 16 years. It was ready for the road in 1991 and is nice to drive at all speeds. Many prizes have been conquered. The car is the only one in Sweden. Further about 25 restored cars are located in the US.

The V12 engine has been improved by better water pumps (pump wheels from later V12´s), a powerful M19 Melling oil pump, aluminum pistons, solid valve guides, a beautiful dual carb Edelbrock intake manifold with a drop shaped air cleaner of my design and construction, a 4.11 rear axle ratio for maximum fit to the Overdrive what concerns torque and speed. Fuel consumption is 15.7 miles/US gallon which I believe is good performance for a 70 years old car. Read more in the enclosed document Restoration of my 1937 Lincoln Zephyr V12 Coupe.

I have lots of documentation, restoration tips, pics from the restoration, pics of the exterior and interior after the completed restoration. Pics from shows and prizes received, see enclosed document Prizes.

Take a look at this movie: http://www.veteranbilstv.se/Lincoln_Zephyr_V12_Coupe.html (in Swedish). The movie is 30 minutes. Have a look at my car when I (in white T-shirt) take a trip in our lovely little village Malmkoping.

I would like the car to return to the US. To a collector or an enthusiast who likes to drive and show the car. To see the car and discover Sweden - take a flight to Stockholm!
The distance from Stockholm airport to our house in the village of Malmkoping is about one and a half hour by car.

You are welcome to stay in our guest house during your visit in order to inspect and drive the Lincoln and later decide if you want to buy it.Transportation and importation of the car to the US must be arranged by the buyer but I can assist you in the necessary paper work with Swedish authorities.

Price at least $ 125,000

For Sale: 1939 Lincoln Zephyr Sedan Convertible written about in the September-October issue of the Way of the Zephyr is ready for a new owner who will take care of it as much as I have. It is ready to be block sanded and painted. It runs great, and has new brakes, tires and wiring. Otis registered under vehicle number H83728. The interior and top need to be finished. I purchased from Gordon Harbuck a dark tan leather interior that was in his '39 sedan convertible for the car. There is a video of the salvage yard owner standing in front of the car telling about the car before the restoration project began. I am asking $29,000. Mike (845) 527-2108.

1940 Lincoln Zephyr Sedan Restoration started 7 years ago. Body work 90%+ Direct to metal sealed. Fenders and firewall painted (burgundy). Small dent in right front fender. Rebuilt V-12 flathead- 0 hours run time. Distributor needs to be bench set, 1941 Overdrive trans (only upgrade other than stock), standard rearend. All the trim (+). Rebuilt radio, speedo re-calibrated, completely rewired (dash forward-stock cloth loom), seats are in excellent restorable shape. Grille, bumpers, and bezels in great restorable shape. Have all glass as patterns, 2 backglass, and rear quarter glass is ready to go in. Quite a few extras come with the car. Gas tank has been flushed. It is missing the gas door and the wheels are 15" mercury-type. Car is located in Ramona, CA.
We got the car from a widow whose husband worked on the car for 7 years before passing away. He restored cars and owned a vineyard. Everything from the ground up was rebuilt brand new. We were told the guy had the entire driveline rebuilt along with the motor and carbs, put on a dyno and ran for a few hours. We had it on a lift and even the original stickers were replaced. We tried to start it (hadn't been fired in a few years) and realized the distributor needed to be bench set. We're still playing with it and hopefully have it going before it sells. Everything's there with a lot of extras- we just don't have time to finish the rebuild cause racing season started (El Mirage and Bonneville).

Please call Jake at (760) 908-7403 or email Lance at lancedawes@mac.comI would love for this to go to someone who appreciates Lincolns.

For Sale: 1941 Zephyr. 4 door sedan. It has 32,000 miles on it. I hauled it out of the barn in 2008 and up to Ubly Michigan where a group of local mechanics and automotive gurus proceeded to go through the engine and replace the magneto, battery, plugs, wires, oil and minor things and it runs like a top. After knowing this was done, I did spend $3000 to make sure all was done correct I moved it to the body shop where there was a $16,000 strip to the metal, lead (no bondo) and all re-chromed original parts. The tires do need to be replaced as I was leaving that to last but I do have all original hubcaps as well. After the exterior was completed and all chrome was reinstalled (the car is painted a dark royal blue), it then moved to a professional upholstery shop there in Ubly. The quote to restore using as much of the usable original that is with the car is $15,000. The shop is highly acclaimed and does museum quality work. My options are; to finish out the car and try to sell it. I have the original title to the car. I would take $15,000 or Best Offer. The car is in Ubly Michigan.
