For Sale: 1946 Lincoln Continental Coupe Street Rod Project (Editor's note: The LZOC advocates the restoration and preservation of these cars. This modified car is listed with the understanding that it is a candidate for restoration) Starting with rust-free bdy, had car stripped and primed. Major body work completed. Has complete "Fat Man's" front end installed w/ 11" disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. GM 502 crate motor in car. Paxton supercharger. Air-conditioning unit. Have original interior. All rechroming and pot metal done ($10,000+/-). Five (5) brand new early 50's wired wheels included (one for the Continental wheel). Chrome steering column. Needs: complete assembly, doors, hood, glass, wiring, interior, air, transmission, rear end assembly, suspension, ancillary misc mechanical "stuff", brakes, personal options and miscellaneous street rod "stuff" (such as nostalgic steering wheel, , shifter, etc.). The car is complete with V-12 engine (fresh block work and crank ground .030 & .030), all bumpers, switches, gauges, garnish moldings, fender skirts, etc etc etc. Disassembled and ready for your restoration, re-chroming, and reassembly. For Sale: 1946 Lincoln Sedan Car has been apart more than 25 years, in serious need of restoration that was begun but never finished. Cannot say for sure if all of it is here but certain that most is. Engine was overhauled 25~30 years ago but never started, was oiled up good but now will not turn over. There are extra door assemblies and axle, transmission, and body parts from a donor car. Asking $2000.00 o.b.o. and would like to sell to someone seriously interested in restoration of this car. For Sale: 1946 Lincoln Zephyr ConvertibleHas 351 Ford Cleveland engine, C4 AOD trans and a 9" rear. Conversion was done professionally. I purchased this car to save it from becoming a hot rod. I also have a complete 1946 rolling chassis from radiator to gas tank including the correct V-12 and overdrive trans if anyone is interested in returning this car to original. This is a very rare car, as less than 200 were made. I have 98% of the correct parts to finish this car. The front and rear bumper sets have just been re-chromed and are beautiful!! All the windows are good except the windshield. All convertible top and window hardware and gear are included. I'm 75 and I'm just not going to get to this one. No reasonable offers refused.
