Lincolns at Oshkosh, by Gosh... And More!!!

Untitled Document

Cover Story: Wheels, Wings, and Fun at GOF Central XI

On the Cover: From the co-pilot's seat of the 1929 Ford Tri-Motor owned by the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, LZOC Central Chapter president Hank Dikkeboom caught this view of the action at GOF Central XI, held at EAA's Pioneer Airport. From Hank's vantage point here, you can see parts of the propeller and radial engine, and above that a foreshortened view of the right wing of the plane, covered with corrugated aluminum. At left is EAA's 1929 Travel Air biplane, and between the two aircraft, a long row of Lincoln-Zephyrs and Continentals, with the members of the chapter having a good time. The story about this starts on page 4.
