Cover Story: An Historic Debut On the Cover is the one and only surviving 1939 Lincoln-Zephyr Continental Cabriolet, Body Number 96H56-2, in its first showing following a restoration that took some forty years. The scene is the fairway at The Golf Club of Amelia Island in Fernandina Beach at the northeasterly corner of Florida; the event is the 7th Annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance; the date is March 10th, 2002. Behind the car stands owner-restorer Bob Anderson, LZOC 290, in hat and dark glasses, with an interested spectator. This same car appeared on our January-February cover. |
