9-9-2010 Last minute information: We understand that a romantic comedy starring Ben Affleck is being filmed at Dewey during the parade on Saturday, and also at the Prairie Song pioneer village on Sunday. Stars of the film are expected to be present, mingling with attendees. Gates on Sunday at Prairie Song village open at 9AM, with Cowboy breakfast at 9:30 and Cowboy church at 10AM. Cowboy church this year is a trainer of horses who relates his experiences to human psychology as well as religion. The church will take place in the rodeo arena. Admission to Prairie Song is $8 for seniors. There will be a special parking place for our old cars.

The Saturday parade will again feature the longhorn steers. An added feature for the movie is that the steers will be driven back to the Prairie Song village that night after the parade. The public can participate in the cattle drive and a chuck wagon will be present to provide cowboy fare. The parade will start at 3PM. Staging for old cars in the parade will be at 2:15PM near downtown. Our old cars will be parked in the next block south of the restored Dewey hotel, right outside the Tom Mix museum..

The Tulsa regional group bi plane fly in at the Bartlesville air local Model A club is also going to be present. Admission for old cars is free. There is a suggested donation of $7 per adult, $3 for children for those driving new cars. We will leave for Dewey at 11:30AM.
